Woman Made Wines of the Week 3.5
- On March 5, 2019
We’re kicking off ‘Women’s History Month’ with two awesome wines of the week made by Anna Maria Abbona. In 1989, Anna and her husband Franco returned to Piedmont and went to work in the vineyards that Anna’s grandfather planted in 1936. Up until this point Anna’s family had been growers, selling their grapes to other wineries. Anna and Franco decided to start their own winery named after Anna in 1995, and vinify the grapes themselves.
