Thanksgiving is just around the corner and the weather has caught up and it feels like holiday time. The first is a perfect thanksgiving meal/family wine and comes in a Liter size bottle which we love!  Weingut Furst Elbling comes from the Mosel in Germany. Elbling is a grape varietal that many of us have not come across but it has a very long history dating back to the Roman times. It has similar parentage to Riesling and can be traced back to the Rhine. Today most of the Elbling grown is used to make German sparkling wines called sekt.
