Wine of the Week 1.28-2.3
- On January 28, 2019
This weeks wine deal of the week is a killer 2011 Cotes du Rhone Vieilles Vignes (old vines) from one of our favorite Chateauneuf-du-Pape producers, Roger Perrin. The estate was founded in 1968 by Roger Perrin in southern France. This beauty is made from 60+ year old vines and is mostly Grenache, with some Syrah, and a tiny amount of Mourvedre. This wine is perfectly aged and is tasting more like its expensive friend the Chateuneuf. It’ ready to drink, with notes of leather, earth, perfume, and spice. It will perfectly pair with stews, lamb, hard cheeses, and grilled veggies. Stop on in anytime this week to give it a try at the tasting bar! This is one you don’t want to miss at $7 off!
